(Tantalex) is a Canadian exploration company listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the United States OTCQB Venture Market. The subject of this report is the Manono lithium-tin-tantalum tailings deposit, located 490 km north of Lubumbashi, in the Tanganyika Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The Manono tailings are located within the Tailings Exploitation Permit PER 13698, which is located adjacent to the town of Manono. It consists of 11 tailings dumps spanning a length of 12 km from the southwest towards the northeast. The license is held by MINOCOM SAS, of which Tantalex holds 52%; 18% is held by MINOR and the remaining 30% by COMINIERE. 1.2 Geology and Mineralisation The Manono tailings are technogenic deposits, created from the processing of material from the Manono-Kitolo deposit, which was mined from 1919 to the mid-1980’s for tin and columbite-tantalite ore (coltan).
