| Announcement summary: | Strickland Metals Limited (ASX:STK) (Strickland or the Company) is pleased to release recently received assays from its flagship, wholly-owned Millrose gold project on the Yandal greenstone belt in Western Australia. Initial wide-spaced drilling north of the Millrose Mineral Resource has yielded an exciting new oxide gold discovery. These results are above the high-grade, north-plunging primary Millrose ore zone, and extend mineralisation at least 350m to the north. Mineralisation is also entirely open to the west. Results include The Company will undertake infill drilling in due course with a view to incorporating this mineralisation into an updated Mineral Resource in 2023. Additional drilling will also test for extensions to the mineralisation to the north and west. The new oxide gold mineralisation extends northwards to the previously discovered fresh rock zone delineated by MRRC130 (8m @ 4g/t Au from 104m) announced to the ASX on 7 July 2022. The Company has completed two diamond holes targeting further fresh rock intersections around MRRC130 (assays pending). Additional infill drilling will occur in this area with a view to incorporating the results into an updated Mineral Resource in 2023 |
