Announcement summary: | This National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) Technical Report (Technical Report) was prepared for OceanaGold Corporation (OceanaGold) to a feasibility study (FS) level by SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. (SRK) on the Haile Gold Mine (Haile or Project). This report includes both open pit and underground mining components and a single economic analysis based on open pit and underground reserves as of December 31, 2021. 1.1 Property Description and Ownership The Haile Gold Mine is 100% owned and operated by OceanaGold. Haile is located 5 km northeast of Kershaw in southern Lancaster County, South Carolina. The Haile property site is 30 km southeast of Lancaster, the county seat, and 80 km northeast of Columbia, the state capital of South Carolina. Haile Gold Mine Inc. (HGM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of OceanaGold Corporation (OceanaGold). As of December 31, 2021, HGM owns a total of 11,003 acres in South Carolina with no royalties. Of this total, 4,522 acres are within the mine permit boundary. Proposed expansion in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) will increase the mine property to 5,469 acres. |
