| Announcement summary: | Meeka Gold Limited (ASX:MEK) (“Meeka” or “the Company”) is pleased to release a partial suite of REO results compiled from historical drill records for the Cascade Rare Earth Project, which covers 2,068km2 of the Albany-Fraser Mobile Belt. The grades only reflect the end of hole REO grades as the full length of the hole was not analysed for REE. These results also only include three of the total 15 REE. The remaining 12 elements were not analysed as part of the historical test work. Significant end of hole REO (La2O3 + CeO2 + Y2O3) results include Results from existing explorers in the province also show higher REE enrichment in the saprolite above the end of hole sample location. Figure 1 shows an idealised schematic of the regolith profile and zone of maximum REE enrichment. The Company believes the samples reported here were collected below the zone that is expected to have the highest grade TREO. |
