| Announcement summary: | Meeka Gold Limited (ASX:MEK) (“Meeka” or “the Company”) is pleased to report results from the RC drilling at Turnberry and St Anne’s, as part of the ongoing drilling campaign at the Company’s Murchison Gold Project. The new results from Turnberry Central are from RC pre-collar drilling completed in advance of deeper diamond tails (targeting the underground portion of the resource). The RC drilling intercepted broad zones of shallow gold mineralisation outside the current Mineral Resource interpretation. The mineralisation appears to strike to the northwest away from the Mineral Resource and has not previously been targeted by drilling. Based on the width and grade of the mineralisation, and the shallow depth, this presents an exciting exploration target, which the Company will test once follow up drilling at St Anne’s is completed in March. The final results from St Anne’s were also received, with width and grade of mineralisation in line with the results the Company reported in January.
