| Announcement summary: | Australian manganese explorer, Black Canyon Limited (the Company)(ASX:BCA), is pleased to announce assay results for the first 20 holes completed at Flanagan Bore targeting extensions to the LR1 deposit. The mineral resource expansion drill program encountered thick zones of manganese enriched shale to the southwest of the main LR1 mineral resource. Further upside is possible to the east with more assays results expected over the coming weeks and the mineralisation remains open to the west. Scoping Study activities have continued with the engagement of specialists in the key disciplines of hydrogeology and geotechnical engineering and the appointment of highly regarded independent consultancy, BatteryLimits, to manage the Scoping Study. Black Canyon’s Executive Director, Brendan Cummins, said “The assay results received from the initial drill holes at LR1 have exceeded our expectations. The outcropping, thick and continuous zones of manganese enriched shale containing shallow high-grade intervals has provided further confidence that Flanagan Bore has the potential to deliver an economic project. |
