Announcement summary: | Lunnon Metals Limited (ASX: LM8) (the Company or Lunnon Metals) is pleased to provide an update on drilling activities at its Kambalda Nickel Project (KNP). Drilling at Warren has successfully intersected 2.33m of massive to semimassive/matrix nickel sulphides on the contact between the Kambalda Komatiite and the Lunnon Basalt. This diamond hole intersection is outside the current Mineral Resource boundaries at Warren. A further 6.12m of disseminated nickel sulphides were intersected above the massive to semi-massive/matrix component. These intersections commenced at a downhole depth of 353.05m. Core photos and geological descriptions of the mineralisation follow. Commenting on these results Managing Director, Ed Ainscough said: “Given the delays being experienced across the sector in assay turnaround times, we thought it important to report on the successful intersection of nickel sulphides at Warren; the diamond drilling program is continuing to build a compelling story at Warren and is setting us up for a great start to 2022” |
